The Ministry of Justice on April 30 launched the portal of courts of law instante.justice.md. The portal is accessible to everyone and offers transparency, efficiency, uniformity and fast information, IPN reports.

Minister of Justice Oleg Efrim told a news conference that the portal will be useful both to courts of law and to the summoned persons. It will be secured and the user will have to write an email address to sign in. The model of electronic addresses was made by the model of the European Court and this makes the system more efficient.

The minister said the portal was built with modest resources in a short period of time, at a cost of 40,000 lei. Its functionality meets the demands of the experts in the field. “This is a small contribution that ensures more transparency. The Government supports the implementation of new information technology in the judiciary system,” stated Oleg Efrim.

The portal was created by the model of the Supreme Court of Justice. It has been already visited 1 300 000 times.

“The portal will be not only informative, but also useful to all the employees of the Ministry of Justice, to lawyers and judges. The lawyers will be informed swiftly by email about the hearings that they must attend,” said Master of Law Constantin Bragoi, of the National Institute of Justice.

The goal of the portal is to facilitate the work of judges. It allows studying the number of cases, the sides involved in the trials and the database of national hearings.
