The management of labor migration in Moldova will be automated. The executive recently approved the technical conception of the future automated information system, Info-Prim Neo reports. Minister of Labor, Social Protection and Family Valentina Buliga said currently there are no interconnected information systems between the central public authorities dealing with migration. ”The creation of such a system by using all the information resources to supervise the granting, extension and revocation of the right to labor and the right to stay on a temporary basis in order to work of the Moldovans abroad became a major objective for the state institutions,” said Valentina Buliga. The automated management of labor force migration will enable to exclude the doubling of such activities as the formulation, utilization and storing of paper documents, will reduce the term for validating and issuing documents, while the applicants will do not need to go to state institutions for regaining the necessary confirmatory certificates. The information area will cover data about migrants and employers and the documents needed to electronically obtain the required certificate. The system will be worked out and implemented by the Strengthening Moldova’s Capacity to Manage Labor and Return Migration Project within the Mobility Partnership.
