Laura Grecu was appointed as head of the National House of Social Insurance by a Government decision on May 4. This was simultaneously dismissed from the post of secretary of state at the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family, IPN reports.
Laura Grecu is a Bachelor of Social Psychology. She had worked at the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family since 1999, serving as consultant, division head, deputy minister and state secretary there. The post of National House of Social Insurance head remained vacant after Maria Borta was dismissed from it by the Cabinet last meeting.
The Cabinet also discharged Iurie Carp from the post of director general of the Tourism Agency because he was named as director general of the wine complex “Cricova”.
In the same meeting, the Cabinet appointed town councilor Sergiu Curnic, who is an expert in public administration, as deputy director general of the Agency for Land Relations and Cadaster.
