The law on services intended for children with deviant behaviors will be subject to an ex-post impact assessment. This exercise will be a premier for the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, IPN reports.
The members of the Parliament’s commission on human rights and interethnic relations, in a join meeting with independent experts, initiated the process of conducting the ex-post impact evaluation with the aim of identifying the legislative shortcomings and of formulating recommendations for the Government.
This experience will serve as a model for borrowing good European practices on parliamentary control as it implies a thorough assessment based on analyses, case studies and questionnaires, interviews, focus and reference groups.
