Unaffiliated lawmaker Iurie Leanca considers that the objective set by the parliamentary commission of inquiry into the situation in the financial-banking sector wasn’t achieved. The report contains unclear formulas and says nothing new. It includes no thorough analysis of the work done by the state institution and how these fulfilled their duties, the MPs said, quoted by IPN.

Iurie Leanca is sure that without foreign specialists, it will be impossible to make headway in investigating those events in an objective and equidistant way. Similar thefts were committed in other states too, with the most recent one being committed in Bulgaria. The experience of other states in such situations should be taken into account.

The commission’s report was presented in a closed-door sitting of Parliament on March 24. The Socialist faction boycotted the sitting, presenting an alternative report.
