A resident of Noroceni village of Orhei district was fund unconscious and with hypothermia in a field near Bravicea, Calarasi. Several hours earlier, the man was kidnapped from the yard of his home, after he was beaten with an iron bar, IPN reports.
According to the Orhei Police Inspectorate, the police were called by the man’s son, who said that individuals entered their yard, beat them and then took his father away by a car.
The police found the man naked and unconsciousness about 5 km from Bravicea. The man was rushed to the Calarasi District Hospital, but the attempts to save him failed.
The police started a criminal case over violation of domicile, murder and kidnapping. The suspects were arrested and face up to 15 years in jail. The reasons why the man was beaten and kidnapped weren’t made public.
