Man buries old woman alive near her house

A man from Dubasari district got 13 years in jail for burying alive an old woman from his village, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the Prosecutor General's Office. The man, being under the influence of alcohol, entered the woman's yard and asked for water from her. He then asked for money for the engagement party that he was to give in several days. As the woman refused to give him money, he punched her and beat her with a club until she lost consciousness. Scared that the woman died, the man buried her and left. The sentence can be appealed to a higher court.
