Man caught driving minibus with passengers under the influence

The traffic police identified an inebriated man driving a minibus of the route No. 185 with at least ten passengers in it. He runs the risk of being deprived of license for a three-year period. Adrian Jovmir, the head of the General Police Commissariat's press office, has told Info-Prim Neo that the police stopped the minibus to check the driver's documents. The officers realized the man was drunk. The passengers were asked to take another minibus, while the driver was taken to the police station. A number of 709 persons have been caught driving under the influence in Chisinau since the start of this year. There were started 261 legal cases.
