Man crushed to death under wheels of BMW

A man was killed when he was struck by a speeding BMW on the Chisinau – Hancesti road on Thursday evening. According to the Traffic Police Division’s spokeswoman Dana Andronic, the car driven by a 25-year-old man hit the pedestrian who was going along the roadway. The victim died on the spot, Info-Prim Neo reports. The same day, six persons suffered different injuries in a road accident that happened on a bridge in Sangera town. A Mercedes crashed into a Ford driven by an Italian citizen aged 31. After hitting the Ford, the Mercedes was thrown into an Audi with Transnistrian license number. A motorcyclist aged 24 from Cojusna village, Straseni, ran into a utility pole. He sustained bone fractures. One person was killed and 12 injured in seven traffic accidents in Moldova on September 2. Another 44 road accidents caused no victims.
