Man falls from third floor

An unidentified man was hospitalized with multiple traumas after he fell from height. Eufalia Negreata, coordinating doctor at the Chisinau Ambulance Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the incident happened on Igor Vieru St. The dwellers of the apartment building saw a man falling from the third floor. They called the ambulance and the police and told them they don't know the victim. The man in his 40s was rushed to the Emergency Hospital. Four persons suffered sunstroke on June 15. A 15-year-old girl has sunbathed for five hours and received first- and second-degree burns. Another young woman who wanted to get a suntan suffered first-degree burns and sunstroke. A homeless man aged 70 was admitted to the municipal hospital No. 4 with sunstroke, while a 23-year-old man who suffered sunstroke refused hospitalization. The body of a man in his 60s was discovered in a house on Gheorghe Madan St. The doctors established he died several days earlier. An investigation is under way. During the last 24 hours, the Chisinau Ambulance Service responded to 800 calls, dealing with seven strokes, a heart attack, four cases of sunstroke and other emergencies.
