A man from Briceni district was killed by three persons who came from another district to do seasonal works for him. The crime was committed by two women and by a man who died before the court passed judgment in this case, IPN reports, quoting a communique of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
In April 2013, two women and a man from Ungheni district came to work in Caracusenii Vechi village of Briceni district. One day the employer told them that he has no more work for them. The culprits, furious that they will not have a source of income, went to the man’s home with wooden cudgels and an iron bar and, calling him out, beat him cruelly and then dragged him into the pig pen. Seeing that the victim is still alive, they hit him several more times, killing him.
The women aged 46 and 57 got 15 years, while their accomplice died before the sentence was pronounced.
