A man aged 28 was sentenced to 17 years in jail for raping and keeping in detention a minor girl, IPN has learned from the Prosecutor General’s Office.
Last June, the 14-year-old girl from Cimislia district was convicted by the young man to go with him to Chisinau. In the capital city, the man took her to the technical story of a building and raped her there. He then kept her in a place by force. The police found the girl in two days.
The sentence can be appealed to a higher court.
