Man kills himself because wife was chatting over Internet

A young man from Budesti village of the municipality of Chisinau Sunday jumped off a bridge angry that his wife has been chatting with somebody over the Internet for a period. Chisinau Ambulance Service managing doctor Maria Shamatailo has told Info-Prim Neo that the 22-year-old man was already dead when the ambulance arrived. Witnesses said his father tried to stop him, but the young man reached first the bridge situated near Vadul lui Voda town and jumped. A child aged four months was rushed to the hospital with a cranial-cerebral trauma and a concussion after a Mercedes struck the carriage in which he was sleeping. The accident happened on Ion Creanga St in Chisinau. The child's mother, who was pushing the baby carriage, was not hurt. A 54-year-old man died suddenly in an apartment located on Hancesti St, where he went to carry out repair works. Most probably, he died as a result of heart failure. On Sunday and last night, the Chisinau ambulance teams had dealt with 673 emergencies, including 69 cases of trauma, 71 cases of acute viral infection, 14 cases of pneumonia, two strokes and 16 deliveries.
