A man aged 38 was sentenced to seven years in jail for killing his mother, IPN reports, quoting the Prosecutor General’s Office.
The incident happened a year ago. The woman refused to leave him the house as inheritance. Infuriated, the man hit her with two wooden slabs multiple times. The 62-year-old woman died. According to prosecutors, the man often beat his mother.
The sentence can be appealed to a higher court.
