A 38-year-old man may remain confined to bed for the rest of his life after he was injured in an accident at work. Chisinau Ambulance Service managing doctor Anatol Proca has told Info-Prim Neo that the man was working on the roof of the Glass Factory located on Transnistria St. He slipped and fell on the aspahlt from a height of about 7 meters.
The man was rushed to the Emergency Hospital with a fracture of the backbone, concussion and a wound in the occipital region.
A baby girl of four months suffered a concussion in a road accident that happened on Miorita St in Telecentru quarter. The taxi in which the mother and the baby were traveling was struck by a VAZ-2106.
Another taxi hit a 72-year-old man on Alecu Russo St. The man was taken to the Emergency Hospital with a wound in the occipital region and contusion of the thorax.
