A man was admitted to the hospital with burns on the face and neck that he received when he tried to extinguish the fire that engulfed his house, Info-Prim Neo reports. Emergencies Service spokeswoman Dorina Cruc said the incident happened in Parlita village of Falesti district. The cause of fire is not yet known. The 35-year-old man attempted to put out the fire, but did not manage to. He was taken to the hospital with second-degree burns. Dorina Cruc also said that a 122 mm caliber shell was found on the premises of a company in the municipality of Balti. The same day, a 76 mm caliber shell was discovered during the cleanup of a forest strip in Balti. The two shells have not been taken to a safer place yet. They are being guarded. As many as 129 persons have been killed in fires in Moldova so far this year. Two of the victims were children.
