Man suspected of killing his wife’s lover

A man is suspected of murdering his wife’s lover after catching the two in the act of making love, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the Ministry of the Interior. The 42-year-old man from Buteni village of Hancesti district confessed that he punched the lover aged 50 several times with his fist and then hit him with the hoe in the head. Suffering serious traumas, the man died on the spot. Later, the suspect and his wife tried to hide the crime and buried the body in their own garden, covering the place with corn plants. The suspect is investigated for extremely cruel murder for sadist reasons. If found guilty, he would serve 20 to 25 years behind bars or be imprisoned for life. According to the Ministry of the Interior, the police this year have solved 131 cases of murder out of the 137 cases reported.
