The police in Russia arrested a man who committed a murder in Moldova and was sentenced to nine years in jail. The information was communicated by the Russian Ministry of the Interior, IPN reports.
The man committed the crime in 2009. He shot dead another man during a drinking bout. The Moldovan police called on their Russian colleagues to look for the man, who reportedly was in Moscow.
The Russian police established that the man was performing repair works in apartments in Moscow. The procedure for his extradition was initiated.
