Man who raped and killed young woman in Anenii Noi gets life

The man who was charged with raping and killing a girl in Anenii Noi town at the beginning of last year was sentenced to life imprisonment, Info-Prim Neo has learned from the Prosecutor General’s Office. The 18-year-old girl disappeared last January. Her body was found near the Bus Station in Anenii Noi three months later. According to the prosecutors, the young woman was raped by the guard of a market located nearby on January 7, 2012. The 43-year-old man throttled the girl, took her mobile phone and then burned her. The offender was also convicted for attacking a man with a pneumatic pistol in the street several days after committing the murder. He got life for rape, deliberate murder, theft and hooliganism.
