The director and deputy director of the Civil Aviation Authority, Octavian Nicolaescu and Vladimir Gorea, were suspended from office.
Asked by IPN, Alina Merlici, the communication adviser of the minister of economy, said that a search would be carried out, after which additional details regarding the suspension would be communicated.
During the period of the internal investigation, the interim position of director will be held by Alexandru Fiti.
