The mandatory health insurance policy could be paid online, through post-terminals or at post offices, while the status of medially insured person will be provided and suspended in accordance with the new regulations approved by the executive, IPN reports.
The National Health Insurance Company will provide the status of medially insured person to employees, persons insured by the Government and citizens who purchase a health policy individually. If the premium is not paid, there will be imposed penalties.
When registering the person, the Company will allot an insurance number to this. Based on this number and on the state identification number, the private individuals who benefit from medical services will be recorded.
The status of medially insured person can be checked by visiting the website of the National Health Insurance Company. As a result of the recently approved changes, the insured persons are no longer obliged to present the health policy on paper to benefit from medical services.
