Marian Lupu says he will run for President only if sure the elections will not fail

The chairman of the Democratic Party Marian Lupu said he will put himself forward for the post of President only if he is sure that the presidential elections will not fail, Info-Prim Neo reports. “This post is not as important for me as the necessity of bringing the political crisis to an end. I will no more tolerate situations when the persons say something, but do something different,” said Marian Lupu. According to the Democrats’ leader, the election of the President is a priority. “Those who insist on a solution that is not viable and will not lead to the election of the head of state hide the wish to have early parliamentary elections,” said Marian Lupu. The presidential elections will take place on November 18. No candidate has been registered so far.
