The head of the General Public Security Division of the General Police Inspectorate Marin Maxian was named chief of the National Patrolling Inspectorate.
Contacted by IPN, Alina Zbanca, head of the press service of the Mistry of the Interior, said the appointment order was signed several days ago by the secretary general of state Simion Carp.
Marin Maxian takes over the National Patrolling Inspectorate following the dismissal of Livii Baziuc, who was named head of the Internal Public Audit Division of the General Police Inspectorate. Livii Baziuc headed the National Patrolling Inspectorate since June 2016.
