The women pregnant with triplets or quadruplets will go on maternity leave when they are 24 weeks pregnant for a period of 182 calendar days. The regulation was proposed by the Ministry of Health and was approved by the Government, IPN reports.
The women who give birth prematurely will benefit from 14 more days of maternity leave.
Another approved amendment enables to apply for a sick leave certificate to look after a child suffering from an oncological disease or a disabled child, up to the child’s age of 18.
