Mayor to accept citizens for audience Friday

Chisinau Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca will accept citizens for an audience on Friday, June 22. He announced during his one-year activity report, after numerous citizens have complained about their problems, and claimed that the mayor has been unreachable for a while now, reports Info-Prim Neo. “I admit that I’ve been allowing fewer meetings with citizens lately. In my early years of activity, I was having audiences every Friday from 8 am till 8 pm, even 10 pm. It is true, however, that being part of larger projects concerning the city’s development, which span over not one or two individuals, but hundreds, thousands of people, I’ve been having fewer audience time”, the Mayor mentioned. Dorin Chirtoaca mentioned that in the upcoming period, the audience practice will be restored. Therefore, Friday, either half a day or the entire day, at least once a month will be devoted to audiences. “Thus, those who are not satisfied with the answer provided by a district head, division head, deputy mayor or mayor’s counselor, will be able to meet with the mayor”, Chirtoaca said. On Friday morning, June 22, the Mayor will visit several locations where residents complained about several issues, and in the afternoon, starting 1 pm citizens will be allowed for audiences. On Tuesday Dorin Chirtoaca presented his activity report marking one year since re-election.
