The Parliament’s commission on economy, budget and finance decided to put off the examination of the reports on the situation on the currency market and at Banca de Economii (BEM) and on the implementation of the decision concerning the leasing out of the Chisinau International Airport. The meeting was to take place today, March 12, IPN reports.
The legislative body’s Communication Division announced that the meeting was postponed to March 19.
The MPs were to question representatives of the National Bank of Moldova, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Transport and other competent institutions. The commission’s head Veaceslav Ionita has told IPN that a report will be compiled based on the hearings on the situation at BEM, which will be rendered in Parliament.
