Metropolitan Bishop Vladimir: Balti Council’s decision is welcome

The decision taken by the Balti Municipal Council, whereby the holding of homosexuals’ parades on the territory of the municipality is banned, is welcome as society must be clean, Metropolitan Bishop of Moldova Vladimir said in an event, Info-Prim Neo reports. “We want society to be clean and lead a clean life. These people, the homosexuals, cannot be good Christians. Our duty is to ask God to give them wisdom and to help them choose the right path,” said the Metropolitan Bishop. On February 23, the Balti Municipal Council adopted a decision, banning the holding of homosexuals’ parades. The Nondiscrimination Coalition said the decision was illegal and demanded that it be annulled as it runs counter to the Constitution.
