“We will not come with inflated ambitions at the negotiating table, but will impose our conditions,” the chairman of the Liberal Party Mihai Ghimpu said in the program “Fourth power” on N4 TV channel, IPN reports.
The leader of the Liberals is convinced that the same parties that are now in Parliament will enter the future legislature and the Liberal Party will be with those who will be with the people.
Mihai Ghimpu noted that it’s better to be in the opposition than to act in collusion with those who steal banks and airports. “If those who govern do not make sure that the democratic values work, there will be no democracy in our country,” he said.
He also said he fears that a ‘pocket’ government could be created after this autumn’s elections. “I do not want others to come and continue to steal either. The situation when we have rich rulers and poor people cannot continue,” stated Mihai Ghimpu.
