Mihai Godea meets with Nicolae Timofti

Unaffiliated lawmaker Mihai Godea will have a meeting with the AEI’s candidate for the presidency Nicolae Timofti on March 13. The MP has told Info-Prim Neo that the decision about the participation in elections and the voting for the candidate will be taken by the Central Bureau of the Democratic Action Party that he heads. Mihai Godea said he approves of the ruling alliance’s candidate. “I don’t know him much. But I know that he had a rich career in the judiciary system. He was chairman of the Central Election Commission and president of the Court of Appeals,” stated the lawmaker. He also said that Nicolae Timofti phoned him in the evening of March 12 and suggested having a meeting in the afternoon of March 13. The place and hour have not been yet agreed.
