Ministries to formulate proposals for increasing pays in LPA

Prime Minister Vlad Filat is expecting proposals for raising the salaries in the local public administration (LPA) from ministries by February 5, Info-Prim Neo reports. “If no other possibilities are identified, you should take money from the 2013 budget for increasing the pays of public servants,” Vlad Filat told his colleagues in a Government meeting on January 30. Vlad Filat also referred to the necessity of stepping up reforms in education and transferring the powers to finance district schools from mayor’s offices to district authorities.
