Ministry of Energy proposes candidates for Moldovagaz board

The Ministry of Energy announced it has completed the process of selecting the candidates for four out of nine vacant positions on Moldovagaz’s Board of Directors that it gets to nominate.

The jury designated Dorin Junghietu, who got the highest score, as the winner. For the remaining three positions, the Ministry will have to choose from the following six candidates: Roman Stavila, Vadim Ceban, Constantin Vozian, Eduard Calancea, Radu Mandraburca and Doina Vozian.

The candidates must simultaneously meet a number of criteria, including a higher education diploma and no political affiliation. Candidates must also have at least 3 years of professional experience and at least 1 year in management positions. A total of 37 candidates registered in the competition, and 33 of them were admitted to the interview stage.

The Moldovagaz Board of Directors is the company’s executive body, consisting of 9 members appointed by the main shareholders for a term of 3 years.
