The judges will come together for a new meeting on November 28 to elect the members of the Supreme Council of Magistrates, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the Justice Ministry's press service. The General Assembly of Judges is convoked to elect two members of the Supreme Council of Magistrates from among judges that could not be elected at the last meeting. Judges Nicolae Timofti, Nichifor Corochii and Anatol Turcanu were voted in as members of the Supreme Council of Magistrates at the meeting of October 31. The Parliament is soon to confirm Alexandru Arseni, Igor Dolea, Boris Negru and Andrei Suveica as titular members of the Supreme Council of Magistrates. The Supreme Council of Magistrates is composed of 12 members - five judges and four titular members as well as three ex officio members - the president of the Supreme Court of Justice, the Minister of Justice and the Prosecutor General.
