A minute of electoral publicity for the June 14 local elections can cost even €4,000. The prices start yet from 150 lei/minute on radio stations and 240 lei/minute on TV channels and are set mainly by the local broadcasters. The electoral advertisements are the most expensive on the TV channels with national coverage, IPN reports.
For advertisements on Prime TV channels, the election runners will pay €4,000 per minute, on Publika TV – €2,500 per minute, while on Canal 2 and Canal 3 channels – by €2,000. A minute of publicity on Pro TV Chisinau costs €600, while on TV 7 – €9,100 lei to 11,600 lei, depending on the hour when the publicity is broadcast. The charge on Moldova 1 is €400 per minute, while on the regional public channel of Gagauzia - 500 lei per minute.
On Radio Moldova station, the election contenders will pay €40 per minute, on Radio Noroc – €36 to €50, while on Hit FM – €60 to €65, on Radio Plai - €8 to €10 per 30 seconds of electoral publicity, on Russkoe Radio – €11 to €32 per minute, while on the public radio station – 150 lei/minute.
