The mobile ballot box going to the psychological-neurological institution in Cocieri, Dubasari, could not reach the destination owing to the Transnistrian militia posts.
The Moldova Institute for Human Rights (IDOM) informed that only 49 of the 274 persons with the right to vote admitted at the Cocieri psychological-neurological hospital cast their ballots. They went themselves to the polling place or were provided with transport by the institution’s administration, IPN reports.
The IDOM mobilized 30 national observers accredited by the Central Election Commission to oversee the voting process at 10 psychiatric institutions.
