The Civil Protection and Emergencies Service will intervene to alleviate the consequences of chemical, biological, radiation and nuclear accidents with modern equipment that was purchased with support from the United States Department of Defense, IPN reports.
On March 10, Moldovan rescuers presented the chemical and radiation examination equipment, personal protective outfits, sample collection and transportation and communication equipment to the program partners.
The outfitting was possible based on an agreement of cooperation in the provision of assistance in ensuring security between the United States Department of Defense and the Ministry of the Interior of Moldova.
