Moldova Cup Round of 16 fixtures announced

Following a draw at the Moldovan Football Federation on Tuesday, the fixtures for the Moldova Cup's Round of last 16 were announced, Info-Prim Neo reports. Title holders Iskra-Stal Rybnitsa will host Nistru Otaci, and last year's second finalists Olimpia will play Division A team FC Tighina at Balti. Moldova's current champions Dacia Chisinau will encounter St. Gheorghe Suruceni, as Sheriff Tiraspol, the 7-time holder of the Cup, will play Locomotiva Balti. The other Round of 16 fixtures are the following: CSCA-Rapid Ghidighici – Academia UTM Chisinau; Zimbru Chisinau – RS Lilcora Chisinau; Gagauzia Comrat – Milsami-Ursidos Orhei; and FC Tiraspol – Saxan Chadyr Lunga. All matches are scheduled for November 24.
