Moldova-England match to be refereed by Dutchmen

UEFA has decided that the football match between Moldova and England in the World Cup qualifiers will be refereed by a team from the Netherlands. Paulus van Boekel will be the main referee of the encounter. Paulus von Boekel’s assistants will be Norbertus Josephus Cornelus Simons and Angelo Boonman. The 4th official will be Danny Makkelie. The referees’ observer will be Giorgios Bikas of Greece, and Trygve Borno of Norway will be the UEFA delegate. The match between Moldova and England will take place on September 7 on the Zimbru stadium in Chisinau. The tickets for the match were sold out within several hours after becoming available, and the queues were formed long before the ticket-booths had opened. The tickets’ cost varied between 70 and 250 lei. A few hours after the sale, tickets at prices doubling the official ones were posted for sale on social networks .
