Moldova’s representative Cristina Scarlat didn’t qualify for the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014. Thus, the Moldovan singer will not perform in the May 10 final, IPN reports.
The following countries went through to the final: Montenegro, Hungary, Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, San Marino, Ukraine, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Iceland. The second semifinal on May 8 will involve Romania’s representatives.
Moldova has taken part in Eurovision since 2005. The band “Zdob si Zdub” had the best performance at this contest so far. They were the first to represent the country at Eurovision and ranked sixth in 2005.
