“Meeting but also sharing, this could be our motto. Meeting, through our
common passion: Music. Sharing between citizens of a Europe, alive,
dynamic and open to the World,” said Yves Robert, Honoured Governmental
Counsellor and Chairman of the Association of European Piano
Competitions in the context of the second piano concert of the festival
“Tuesday Concerts of Europe” (Mardis de l’Europe), organized by the
Association of European Piano Competitions at the Organ Hall in Chisinau
on October 19.
“Mobiasbanca was the official partner of this concert, following the
tradition of Groupe Societe Generale to support art and classical
music,” the head of the bank's Communication Department's Ruxanda
Capmari stated for Info-Prim Neo. She said Mobiasbanca engages in the
social cultural projects implemented in Moldova, and the partnership
with the Organ Hall is a relevant example.
Because the Piano - a Reflection of European Culture program, supported
by the European Commission, comes to promote culture and is open to
young European and Moldavian pianists, Mobiasbanca - Groupe Societe
Generale is proud to promote it. “We are honoured to support this
project which put Moldova in the center of this European Program for the
season 2010 – 2010 and which enables 18 young artists to start a
successful carrier,” said the bank's president Jean-Francois Myard.
The piano concert included the most popular works of Frederic Chopin,
Alexander Scriabin, Ludwig van Beethoven performed by two young pianists
– Lira Ceban from Moldova and Joanna Sochacka from Poland, who competed
in the European Piano Competitions.
