Moldova U-19 defeated in Romania

Moldova’s national under-19 football team Tuesday was defeated by Romania, 3:0, in a qualifier for the 2011 UEFA Championship.
Moldova had little chance to recuperate after two goals scored in the first fifteen minutes. The final score was settled at the beginning of the second half.
In another encounter in the first qualifying group, Russia defeated Andorra by a landslide, 4:0.
The situation in the group looks as follows:
1.Romania – 12 points (4 matches),
2.Russia – 9 (4),
3.Moldova – 4 (3),
4.Faroe Isl. – 4 (3)
5.Latvia – 3 (3),
6.Andorra – 0 (5).
Moldova’s next encounters are scheduled for October 10 with Andorra and October 14 with Russia.
