Moldova U-19 team beat Romania in a friendly

The national Under-19 football squad of Moldova continue to prepare for the 2011 European Championship Elite Round. On February 23, the team trained by Sergiu Cleshchenko played a new exhibition match against Romania, winning a 4-3 victory. The goals were scored by Iurie Marza (two goals), Igor Lambarschi, and Valeriu Ciuperca. Two days ago, Moldova scored a 2-1 victory against Romania. The Elite Round matches of the 2011 European Under-19 Football Championship will be played in May. Moldova’s opponents are Norway, Serbia and Wales.
