Moldova U-21 coach Sergiu Chirilov announced the squad to play against Russia in the 2011 European Championship qualification round, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The only novelty in the 18-member squad is the first call-up for Zimbru's midfielder Gheorghe Andronic. The 18-year-old seems to be in good shape, boasting 4 goals in the Moldovan premiership.
Moldova will host Russia on Saturday, November 14, at Sheriff Stadium in Tiraspol, at 15:00. The match will be officiated by a Danish team with Nicolai Vollquartz as main referee.
Russia and Romania share the first two spots in the qualifying group, with 15 points each, while Moldova places 4th, with 7 points, but with one game in hand.
About a month ago, Russia defeated Moldova 3-1 at Moscow.
