Moldova U17 couldn't avoid last place in qualifying group

Moldova's under-17 national football team tied 2-2 with Greece in the last match of the European Championship's qualifying round, to remain on the last place in their group, Info-Prim Neo reports. Though the Tricolors were in the lead with two goals scored by Igor Dima and Maxim Iurcu, the Greeks eventually leveled the score courtesy to a double by Dimitrios Diamantakos. The result placed Greece on the first position in the standings. In the second encounter of the group, Italy were surprisingly defeated 2-0 by Norway, which snatched the second available ticket to the next round of the competition.
