Moldova U19s eliminated from European Championship

Moldova failed to qualify for the U19 European Championship finals. The Tricolors lost all of their games in the Elite Round qualifiers and finished at the bottom of the group, Info-Prim Neo reports. In the last game, Serghei Clescenco’s side suffered a 2-0 defeat to Wales. Previously, Moldova were heavily beaten by Norway (4-0) and Serbia (5-0). The Tricolors finished at the bottom, without scoring a goal or managing a point. Serbia qualified for the tournament after winning all of the fixtures.
