A citizen of Moldova was arrested and is investigated for mercenary activities. The man fought as a mercenary for the separatist-extremist entities of Ukraine, IPN reports.
According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, the 24-year-old man is from Cimislia district and has his domicile in Varnita village. He cooperated with the prosecution bodies and fully accepted his blame.
The man faces up to seven years behind bars. At the prosecutor’s request, he was remanded in custody for 30 days
