The Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Nicu Popescu, and the ambassador of the Italian Republic in Chisinau, Valeria Biagiotti, talked about the conversion of permits and the recognition of study documents between the Republic of Moldova and the Italian Republic. Additionally, the parties discussed the commencement of bilateral social security agreements.
In a MAEIE press release, it is mentioned that the interlocutors expressed their interest in the speedy commencement of bilateral agreements on social security, the conversion of permits and the recognition of study documents, so that citizens of both countries can benefit from these services in the countries of residence.
Minister Nicu Popescu stressed that all necessary measures will be taken for the very large number of Moldovan citizens in the Italian Republic to benefit from accessible consular services.
