Judokas Vadim Gimbovschi and Vladimir Iacomi won gold medals at the European U21 Youth Cup that was held in North Macedonia, IPN reports.
Vadim Gimbovschi won the title of absolute champion in the 90 kg class, while Vladimir Iacomi won the title of absolute champion in the 60 kg class.
Valeriu Duminica is the head coach of the national team, while Dorin Goţonoagă is the assistant coach. The athletes are also trained by coaches Genady Melyaskevich, Valeriu Melyaskevich, Mihail Leu, Iurie Leu, and Sergiu Graur.
