A National Army contingent is taking part in the multinational exercise “Platinum Lion 2018” that is held at the Novo Selo range army base in Bulgaria during July 30 – August 9, IPN reports.
According to major Igor Levitski, commander of the Moldovan contingent, the goal of the exercise that involves 81 service members of the National Army is to enhance interoperability among the partner armed forces.
“Platinum Lion 2018” brought together service members from Bulgaria, Slovenia, Albania, Serbia, Romania, Georgia and the United States. The National Army of Moldova has taken part in this exercise since 2016.
