Moldovan students, researchers and artists can apply for scholarships to study in Slovakia

The Embassy of Slovakia in Chisinau invites Moldovan citizens to apply for academic mobility scholarships for the 2014-2015 summer term. The scholarships are provided for a period of one to twelve months for students, researchers, teachers and artists within the National Scholarship Program of the Slovak Republic, IPN reports.

The scholarship is €350 a month for students, €580 for PhD students, artists, teachers and researchers without a doctorate, €850 for those with a doctorate and €1,000 for those with a doctorate and with experience of over 10 years.

The deadline for applications is October 31, 2014. The application forms can be filled out online on www.scholarships.sk or sent by mail or courier, alongside the other necessary documents, to the address: SAIA, Sasinkova 10, 812 20, Bratislava 1, Slovakia. In the second case, the file must reach the destination within five days of the expiration of the deadline. The selection results will be announced within six weeks of the time limit.

The National Scholarship Program for the Support of Mobility of University Students, PhD Students, University Teachers, Researchers and Artists was established by the approval of the Government of the Slovak Republic in 2005. The program is funded by the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic.
