Moldovan tennis players prepare for duel with Bosnia and Herzegovina

The lineups of the national men’s tennis teams of Moldova and of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will meet in the second round of group II of the Davis Cup Euro-African area, were made known, IPN reports.

Qualified in this stage of the competition for the first time, Moldova will use its best tennis players for a good performance. These are: Radu Albot (222nd in the ATP rankings), Maxim Dubarenko (477th), Andrei Ciumac, and Andrei Gorban.

Bosnia and Herzegovina includes: Damir Dzumhur (228th in the world rankings), Aldin Setkic (229th), Tomislav Brkic (415thg), and Izmar Gorcic (759th).

The two countries have met for five times in the Davis Cup so far. The Moldovans scored three victories, in 2003, 2007 and 2008.

The new Moldovan-Bosnian duel will take place between April 5 and 7 in Mostar town. The winning team will meet Lithuania or Portugal for promotion to the first world league.
